The Seldén tree slide is used in boat classes such as the 420 or 470 to attach your main sheet to the tree at the optimum angle for your needs. Thanks to the simple screw construction with a clamping plate, this stainless steel slide can easily be repositioned, e.g. to strike the sheet further forward in light winds, but to reduce the pressure slightly in strong winds by moving the slide slightly further back. Normally 2 of these sliders are needed per tree.
