Tension straps for fastening the boats or accessories

In regattas, sailors travel a lot with their boats and always have to lash their boats or accessories such as slip wagons and rigs. For safe transport it is also important to replace the belts at times when they are cracked or damaged. UV radiation in particular "attacks" the lashing straps and makes them brittle.

Lashing straps for the sailing sport

As in everyday life, high-quality industrial lashing straps are used in sailing sports to securely lash the ships to trailers, for example, and thus safely transport them from A to B. The same applies to the use of industrial lashing straps. Due to the high value of your ship and the sensitive nature and construction of the hulls, the motto "Better too much secured than too little" also applies This is why sailors usually use "ratchet straps" for lashing their ships and not straps with clamps, as well as straps which, due to their width and material characteristics, could hold considerably more weight.

End fitting

Depending on the application or condition of your boat trailer, lashing straps are equipped with or without various end fittings. It depends on whether you want to hook both ends of your lashing strap into prepared eyelets or whether you want to guide the strap around pipes, columns or through eyelets. That's why there are tensioning belts in various designs from a single long belt with ratchet to a two-part belt with hooks at both ends with the most processed solutions: Pointed hook, Pointed hook with lock, Triangle (bow, eye), Triangle hook, Claw hook, Frame hook, Flat hook.

Further features

In order not to fray, the free ends are usually delivered hot, cut at an angle. Very high quality, powerful lashing straps for special purposes, such as lashing your ship etc. are made of nylon. To minimize elongation during use, the belts are pre-stretched in the factory. In order to compress the surface and make the belts more resistant to dirt, they are finally impregnated and are therefore more resistant to natural influences.
