Forsheda Mooring Compensator

The FORSHEDA Mooring Compensator is very easy to attach and provides relief for mooring lines, pier and deck fittings. The mooring line, is passed through the clamp at both ends and wrapped around the Mooring Compensator. How often it is wrapped depends on the desired damping performance. For example, 3 turns are recommended for open and unprotected moorings. 1 turn results in low damping and little freedom of movement for the boat, this is especially advantageous in calm waters without waves. The Mooring Compensator is made of EPDM rubber and is therefore particularly weather resistant.
