HOLT S-hook

Holt's stainless steel S-hook is particularly interesting for ships with spinnaker trees, as this hook is used as a suspension for the Topnant. One eye is almost completely bent, so that the Topnant can be knotted into the hook. The other part of the S-hook is relatively wide open which allows for easy handling when recovering and setting the spis. At the same time, however, the hook is closed so far that the spinnaker tree holds securely to the topnant.
