Your O'pen BIC is equipped with an extremely light and dynamic fiberglass epoxy mast. Due to the strong bending of the mast, it is guaranteed that the large pressure in the comparatively large sail can escape through the open leech in strong winds on the downwind course, and that on the half-wind and bulkhead courses at the same time perfect surfing is possible due to the large sail area. The mast for your O'pen BIC is delivered in two parts. Based on the Skiff-, as well as the Surfsport the transport falls thereby all the more easily. The mast, which is 3.90m long in total, is thus dismantled into individual parts of 2m length and can be easily transported in a small car.
