PROtect tapes CHAFE protective tape

The CHAFE Tape from PROtect tapes is a pressure-sensitive protective tape which currently has the highest impact resistance of all thermoplastics on the market. This extremely resistant tape with a super-strong acrylic adhesive surface also has a very low coefficient of friction and is self-lubricating. Typically, this tape is used on the mast or the salingen or on the lower edge of the tree, in those parts of the rig that are exposed to high friction due to the sheet or other objects. But this tape is also very popular on deck, for example around the lying gennaker blocks as protection against knocks and abrasion.
