The 470 mainsail R14 from Zaoli was designed in 2014 in cooperation with the best partner sailers of Zaoli. In comparison to the older R12 cut this sail is deeper and rounder in the top, in the lower part the sail is somewhat flatter. This sail shows the best performance with little wind and medium wind, which makes this mainsail very versatile and allows a wide variation of settings. For the R 14 M available here, the vertical sail shape was slightly adjusted by shifting the windward curve a little upwards. With this sail the European Champion title 2015 of the team Gerz / Szymanski was sailed.
